The minister shares a message on Impacting Our Communities for Christ, reminding us that God calls us to purposefully influence the world around us. Key points from the sermon include:
🌟 Empowered for Purposeful Living
As part of God’s family, you are called not only to make heaven but also to live a life of purity, purpose, and Holy Spirit power. God wants you to thrive and make a difference, it’s in your spiritual DNA! (Acts 4:33; Judges 6:12-16).
🚫 Remove Excuses, Embrace God’s Calling
Excuses (age, background, circumstances, busyness) are the greatest enemies of impact. The lazy man says, “There’s a lion outside!” (Proverbs 22:13). Don’t let justified excuses rob you of destiny! Even in difficult situations (like being in hospital), opportunities to impact others remain.
🕯 Start Where You Are—with What You Have
Like Moses, we often wait for the perfect moment or give excuses (Exodus 3:11–4:2), but God asks: “What is in your hand?” Start with your skills, time, opportunities, or resources—no matter how little because God can use what you have, right where you are.
🌱 Small Acts, Big Impact
Don’t wait for conditions to be perfect. Mentor a student, visit a care home, volunteer locally, support a child in need (Matthew 25:34-36). It’s not about how much you have but your willingness to be used by God.
💡 Steward the Gifts and Opportunities God Gives
Like the parable of the talents, God has entrusted unique abilities and resources to you (Matthew 25:15-19). One day, we’ll give an account of how we used them for His purposes. Refuse to ‘bury’ your gifts multiply them for His glory!
✨ Missionaries in Your World
Wherever you are—student, worker, new arrival—God has positioned you on a mission. Shine your light, serve compassionately, and share the gospel. When you care for others and introduce them to Jesus, you will shine like the stars forever (Daniel 12:3).
🚀 Prayer for Impact
Ask God to help you move forward, break free from limitations, align with His purpose, and receive wisdom for your next steps.
💡You are destined to shine! Embrace your assignment, maximize your gifts, and leave a lasting legacy for Christ.
