Christ’s victory is total and includes the healing of our spirit, soul, and body. May is presented as the Month of Grace and the Month of the Hand of God, a season to receive divine help, favour, and complete restoration (Ecclesiastes 7:9; 1 Corinthians 15:57).
🙏 Healing Begins Within
Jesus’ healing work starts from the inside out. When a person comes to Christ, the old life passes away and a new creation begins, with a renewed spirit and transformed mind (2 Corinthians 5:17; Colossians 3:10). Sin damages the spirit, so the first healing we need is spiritual healing and forgiveness.
🧠 Healing for the Mind
The Word of God also brings healing to the mind, replacing anxiety, depression, and hopelessness with peace and renewed thinking (Romans 12:2; Philippians 4:6-8). As the Holy Spirit reminds us of God’s Word, our thoughts become clearer, stronger, and more creative. A healed mind helps shape a healed life.
💪 Healing for the Body
Jesus also carried our sicknesses and diseases, showing that physical healing is part of the redemption package (Matthew 8:17; Isaiah 53:4-5). He told the leper, “I will; be clean,” proving that sickness is not God’s will for His people (Matthew 8:2-3). God’s healing power is able to restore health and sustain us for His purpose (Psalm 107:20; Jeremiah 30:17).
🌿 Why We Give Thanks
We thank God because healing is part of Christ’s finished work, and because the truth we know sets us free (John 8:32). A healthy spirit conquers adversity, and a renewed mind produces a fruitful future (Proverbs 18:14; Proverbs 4:23). God wants His people healed, healthy, and ready to serve.
💡 Walk in Full Assurance
The call is to receive healing by faith and live in the fullness of what Jesus purchased on the cross. Whether the need is spiritual, mental, or physical, God has provided healing through Christ, and believers are encouraged to stand in that truth with thanksgiving.
