Evangelism: A Form of Thanksgiving

September 7, 2025 |
| Tunde Kikiowo

🌍 The Call to Go and Evangelize
Jesus gave His final instruction to His disciples: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). This command invites us on a lifelong journey of obedience, empowered by faith that we will one day see Him as He is (1 John 3:2).

📣 Preaching the Gospel as an Act of Thanksgiving
Before becoming born again, someone preached to us (Romans 10:14-15). When we preach, our lives become beautiful in God’s sight, and we fulfill His mandate to bear witness of His kingdom. Being sent like Aaron is an honor granted only by God (Hebrews 5:4).

✨ Shining Stars Through Gospel Ministry
Those who faithfully preach will shine like stars forever (Daniel 12:3). Your life is the greatest evangelistic tool. Isaiah says the nations will see your righteousness and recognize you as a crown of glory in God’s hand (Isaiah 62:2-3).

💡 Let Your Light Shine
Jesus calls believers “the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14-16). Our good works attract men to God. Zechariah foretells many seeking the company of those “who have heard that God is with them” (Zechariah 8:23)—this is the power of a life aligned with God’s mission.

🎵 Gratitude for Salvation and Calling
Praise God for being born again, having your name written in the book of life, receiving the Holy Spirit, and the hope that comes with sonship! Your transformed life compels you to proclaim Christ boldly (Matthew 10:32-33).

🔥 Boldness Through Being with Jesus
Like Peter and John, the difference in boldness comes from having been with Jesus (Acts 4:13-14). Receive the Spirit of boldness to stand firm in your faith and witness.

💡Evangelism is a lifestyle of thanksgiving. Let your grateful heart shine through your life, drawing many to Christ and fulfilling God’s purpose.
