The Redeemed Christian Church of God was established in Nigeria in 1952 by Reverend Josiah Akindayomi. Many years later Dr Enoch Adejare Adeboye became the General Overseer in 1981.

Under Pastor Adeboye’s Leadership RCCG experienced phenomenal growth worldwide characterised by emphasis on soul winning, prayer and holiness. RCCG is the UK’s fastest growing church with over 35,000 parishes worldwide.
