The minister delivers a message on Overcoming Faith, reminding us that through God we will do valiantly, and the seed of our breakthrough has already been provided within us. This sermon focuses on the following key points:
⚔️ Faith That Overcomes
Through God we shall do valiantly, for it is He who treads down our enemies (Psalm 60:12). Whatever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes—our faith (1 John 5:4).
😈 The Enemy’s Strategy
The devil raises problems to distract you from your assignment, just as he did to Job, tried to kill Moses through the death of many children (Exodus 1:22), and tried to kill Jesus (Matthew 2:16). He wants you focused on what isn’t working rather than fixing your eyes on eternal, unseen things (2 Corinthians 4:18).
🙏 A Life of Gratitude
How great is God’s goodness, laid up for those who fear Him and trust in Him (Psalm 31:19). God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him (2 Peter 1:3).
🧠 Meditate to Discover What’s Within You
We must give the more earnest heed to what we’ve been taught, lest we drift away (Hebrews 2:1). Meditating and giving yourself wholly to God’s word reveals the answer and the right steps for every situation (1 Timothy 4:15).
🌾 The Seed Is Already Within You
Just as the widow already had the oil, Moses already had the rod, the water jars were already present at the wedding, and the boy’s lunch was already prepared before the 5,000 gathered—the answer to your next season is already within you or your immediate environment.
🏆 Faith and Patience Inherit the Promise
It is through faith and patience that we inherit what has been promised (Hebrews 6:11-12). Ask God to open the eyes of your heart to see the steps He has already prepared for you.
🎵 A New Song of Testimony
He has put a new song in my mouth—praise to our God; many will see it, fear, and trust in the Lord (Psalm 40:3).
💡 Go back to the abandoned projects, dreams, and giftings God has deposited in you—the provision was made before the need ever arose.
