The minister delivers a message on Building Blocks of Faith and Spiritual Growth, reminding us that God does not encourage stagnation. This sermon focuses on the following key points:
🌊 Little Faith
Jesus rebuked His disciples for fear during the storm and for doubting when sinking (Matthew 8:26, Matthew 14:31). He was surprised they forgot the miracles of the loaves (Matthew 16:8-10). Little faith doesn’t mean lack of faith—it means immature, inconsistent, or weak faith. Use your past victories and testimonies to push into your next level of growth.
⭐ Great Faith
Jesus marveled at the centurion’s faith, declaring He had not found such great faith even in Israel (Matthew 8:10). This faith rests on humble reliance on Christ’s word rather than ritual or proximity—making it the most accessible faith to build, born from personally hearing God’s word.
♾️ Faith Without Measure
Jesus received the Spirit without measure, generously and boundlessly (John 3:34). We carry that same spirit of faith—believing and therefore speaking (2 Corinthians 4:13)—and like the disciples, we should ask the Lord to increase our faith (Luke 17:5).
🔨 Faith Must Be Tested to Grow
Abraham, David, Daniel, Esther, Joseph, and even Jesus were all tested. Consider it pure joy when facing trials, for the testing of faith produces endurance that leads to maturity, lacking nothing (James 1:2-4). No temptation is beyond what you can bear—God always provides a way through (1 Corinthians 10:13).
🎉 Your Trial Is Your Testimony
Every test, trial, and challenge is God’s way of enforcing growth in your life. Your growth is tied to your test—rejoice, because the challenge you face is being turned into your story of glory.
💡 Exercise your senses to discern wisely, give yourself to building your spirit man so challenges become opportunities, and choose to be a problem solver, not a complainer.
