The Seven Building Blocks of Effective Faith
1️⃣ A Relationship with God
Faith begins with a personal connection with Jesus Christ.
-
He is the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:1‑2 NKJV) .
-
Know His nature—merciful, loving, faithful (Psalm 103:8 NKJV) .
-
You can’t trust someone you don’t know. Build relationship before requesting results.
2️⃣ The Word of God
Faith stands on the revealed promises in Scripture.
-
God’s promises are your legal inheritance (2 Peter 1:4 NKJV) .
-
Ignorance keeps believers powerless (Hosea 4:6 NKJV) .
-
Let Scripture light your path (Psalm 119:105 NKJV) .
-
Bold faith asks according to God’s will (1 John 5:14‑15 NKJV; Hebrews 10:23 TPT) .
3️⃣ Hearing the Word Continually
Faith grows by what you keep hearing (Romans 10:17 NKJV) .
Hearing God’s Word repeatedly stirs confidence, just like Elizabeth felt her baby leap when she heard Mary’s greeting (Luke 1:41 TPT) . Stay present in church, devotion, and teaching—revelation keeps your spirit alive.
4️⃣ Prayer Life
Prayer strengthens endurance and spiritual stamina (Jude 20‑21 NKJV) .
-
Join corporate prayer (Acts 2:42, 46 NKJV) .
-
Maintain daily personal devotion.
-
Follow mature believers who model faith (1 Corinthians 11:1 TPT) .
5️⃣ Joy – The Strength Factor
Joy is the outer proof of inner faith.
-
“With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation” (Isaiah 12:3 NKJV) .
-
Faith requires joy; gloom drains belief.
When facts seem negative, rejoice anyway—joy releases divine strength.
6️⃣ Works of Obedience
Faith without works is dead (James 2:17 NKJV) .
Act on what you believe—serve, give, speak truth, forgive.
Trust God’s timing and direction (Proverbs 3:5‑6 NKJV) .
7️⃣ Love – The Engine of Faith
Faith operates through love (Galatians 5:6 AMP) .
-
Love believes, forgives, and hopes (Romans 15:13 NKJV; Galatians 5:13 NKJV) .
-
Unforgiveness blocks prayer; offense stops results.
Think of faith as the car—love is the engine that makes it move.
