Navigating Friendships

February 16, 2025 |
| Tunde Kikiowo

The Minister explores the principles of meaningful friendships and their impact on our lives. This sermon focuses on the following key points:

🀝 Choose Wisely: You have the right to select your friends. Seek those with similar belief systems and values. “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”

πŸ‘₯ Close Companionship: Invest time and effort in your friendships. Be open, trustworthy, and forgiving. “Make allowances for each other’s faults”

🀫 Trust and Loyalty: True friends can be trusted with personal information. “A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.”

πŸ†˜ Mutual Support: Friends stand by each other in times of need. Be willing to help, even when inconvenient. “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.”

🎁 Reciprocity: As Jesus empowered His disciples, we should empower our friends. “A man who has friends must himself be friendly”

❀️ Forgiveness: Practice forgiveness in your friendships. Don’t hold grudges. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

🌱 Personal Growth: Cultivate qualities that attract and maintain quality friendships. Your character influences the friendships you develop.

πŸ’‘Commit to being a blessing to others, fostering forgiveness, and cultivating meaningful relationships that reflect Christ’s love and support.
